Cast
Iron Chimenea
Made from heavy cast iron, these chimeneas
are not as easy to move about. We recommend that you assemble
your cast iron chimenea in the place where you want to leave
it to stand. Most of them are very easy to put together but
before you first use it, you are advised to cure the chimenea
to increase its long-term durability and heat retention properties.
You can do this by burning a proper fire for a few hours.
Cast Iron Chimenea Care
Almost all chimeneas are kept outside
in the garden in open spaces where they are subjected to the
different weather conditions. It is common for rust to set in
when exposed to rain and the winter climate – this also
applies to those who live near the coast, sea air is a catalyst
for rusting. To maintain and extend its condition and life,
you can use a chimenea cover.
Even if you noticed areas have rusted, you can sand it down
and paint it.
Cast Iron Chimenea BBQ
